Commonwealth Sport CEO Katie Sadleir NZOM, has been recognised for her contribution to global sport and her longstanding dedication to Athlete wellbeing and equity.  

Sadleir herself competed at the 1986 Commonwealth Games, where she won bronze in women's solo synchronised swimming event and competed alongside her sister in Synchronised Swimming at the 1984 Olympic Games.

Sadleir, has worked across numerous governance and leadership roles in sport in her career, including World Rugby and Sport New Zealand.
