The Games and Assurance Department is responsible for working with the CEO to ensure the successful delivery of the Commonwealth Games and Commonwealth Youth Games consistent with the CGF’s Strategy, Host Contract, Constitution and Operating Manuals.  The team work to maximise the success of the new games delivery model, providing expertise and support for Hosts. A key aspect of the teams responsibilities is to lead on assurance and evaluation for the CGF’s Games, helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the Games. 

This department manages the pipeline acquisition of the future Commonwealth Youth Games and supports the CEO and the Board in the process of securing future Commonwealth Games for 2030/34

At present, the team comprises three staff: the Director of Games and Assurance, along with the Head of Special Projects and the Head of Games Operations.
